Abby Landsness
Hi, I’m Abby — and I love helping people feel at home in the spaces they live in.
I was born and raised in Madison, and my background blends interior design and real estate with a strong focus on how homes feel, not just how they look. I’ve been working in the design and furniture industry since 2015, learning the ins and outs of what makes a space functional, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable to live in.
I hold degrees in psychology and interior design, which shape how I approach both design and real estate. Understanding how people think, make decisions, and experience their environment allows me to guide clients with empathy and intention. Along the way, I’ve also been largely self-taught through hands-on projects, personal renovations, and real-world experience — including time spent at Steinhafels, where I developed a strong eye for scale, layout, and livability.
In 2022, I earned my real estate license to bring my design background into the buying and selling process. Today, I work with clients on everything from listings and purchases to flip projects, new construction, and short-term rentals. Whether I’m helping prepare a home for the market, walking a buyer through a fixer-upper, or designing a space from the ground up, my goal is always the same: to make the process feel clear, comfortable, and a little more fun.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at Pilates, on a volleyball court, planning my next trip, or at home snuggling my dog, Ricky Bobby — who firmly believes he’s the most important part of my business.
